Overview

Join us in building the future of finance.

Our mission is to democratize finance for all. An estimated $124 trillion of assets will be inherited by younger generations in the next two decades. The largest transfer of wealth in human history. If you’re ready to be at the epicenter of this historic cultural and financial shift, keep reading.

The Corporate Security team’s mission is to ensure the security of Hoodie endpoints, corporate networks, and corporate productivity and business SaaS systems. Corporate Security works alongside our enterprise applications, endpoints, corporate networking, identity, and insider trust teams.

As a Security Management Leader, you lead an outstanding team focusing on internal system security, policies, and corporate controls. You will champion a vision of security as a true business enabler—working shoulder-to-shoulder with product and engineering teams to embed trust, safety, resilience, and speed into Robinhood’s corporate & business systems. You’re a leader who empowers the business to innovate safely, who stays ahead of emerging threats, and who will get hands-on with engineering partners to solve complex security and systems problems. You meet business & engineering partners where they\'re at, helping turn audits, incidents and other security events into impactful security and business outcomes.

What you’ll do
  • Architect, build and proactively secure corporate infrastructure and services at scale, and securely enable business functions.
  • Build and secure AI technologies and agentic workflows for analysis, investigation & detection of security incidents and bad actors, and provide governance over the use of non-human agents within Robinhood’s corporate environment
  • Continually raise the standard on the strength of our corporate security controls, while balancing Hoodie productivity.
  • Develop and continually reassess controls to mitigate security incidents.
  • Validate our controls through technical risk and design reviews to ensure alignment with required security policies/standards.
What you’ll bring
  • 10 years of relevant security engineering work experience
  • Strong depth of knowledge in foundational cybersecurity best practices and leading high-performing blue teams
  • Strong expertise across cloud, application, infrastructure, and data security domains
  • Hands-on experience with incident management and post-incident analysis
  • Comfort leveraging AI tools to enhance security operations, and familiarity with generative AI systems and workflows
  • Background in security policy authorship and opaque product assessment
  • DRI record of delivering large and high complexity projects that impact multiple teams
  • Strong background in recruiting, managing and developing diverse, high-performing teams in fast-moving environments
  • Excel at owning the outcome and performance of solutions and controls delivered
  • Consistently make culture choices that positively impact all Hoodies

Though not REQUIRED, the following would also be quite helpful:

  • Previous experience at a high growth company in the FinTech space
  • Previous experience at highly regulated public company over 1,000 workers
