What You’ll Do

The Project Manager will play a key role within our Corporate Project Management Team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Project Management. This role will be integral in delivering transformative change at Metrie, working closely with our Executive Team and functional leaders to plan and execute the company’s most critical initiatives. You will manage a diverse portfolio of projects across the business, including initiatives led by our Corporate Shared Services departments and strategic growth projects in partnership with Commercial Leadership across Canada and the U.S.

Location

This role is based in Vancouver, B.C. and is required to work in‑branch 4 days per week subject to the Company’s branch policy and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage delivery of complex, multi‑workstream, cross‑functional projects and programs that have enterprise‑level impact.
  • Leading successful delivery of assigned projects and programs, overseeing schedule, scope and budget.
  • Partner with executives and senior leadership to align projects with organizational strategy, provide updates, and influence decision‑making.
  • Manage multiple projects or programs simultaneously, ensuring integration and prioritization across business units.
  • Collaborate with executives on strategic planning, forecasting, and resource allocation for critical initiatives. Develop and implement risk monitoring, management and mitigation strategies, and escalation processes.
  • Oversee change management strategies, stakeholder engagement, and executive‑level communication plans for major organizational shifts.
  • Champion improvements in project governance, methodologies, and workflows to drive efficiency and consistency across the organization.
  • Act as a coach and mentor to peer PMs and internal stakeholders, fostering best practices and building project management capability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and executive sponsors to ensure alignment and support.
  • Deliver high‑level reporting and insights to leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and strategic recommendations.
Who You Are

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Project Management experience (5+ years) delivering commercially focused, cross‑functional initiatives, ideally within manufacturing, retail, or CPG environments
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (required)
  • Proven ability to lead transformative change, working closely with executive leadership and functional teams on high‑impact strategic projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Expertise in developing and facilitating executive‑level presentations and driving alignment on critical initiatives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Project Management tools such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project
  • Strong problem‑solving and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience in merger or acquisitions projects is considered an asset.
  • Able to travel up to 10%, primarily in Canada and US

It is important to note that this position may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that our remuneration ranges are established based on the role, level, and location.
