What you’ll be doing:
  • Reviewing and providing analysis of contract terms and conditions related to bids, supply agreements, and pricing.
  • Reviewing new supplier contracts and advising on risks associated with agreements while recommending solutions.
  • Managing correspondence with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Administering the contract management system and related workflows.
  • Assisting with corporate governance documentation and records for all lines of business.
  • Participating in strategy projects, process improvement initiatives, and support for major business developments.
  • Performing office administrative functions as required.
What we are looking for:
  • Formal legal assistant or Paralegal education, or a Degree / Diploma in Business, Administration, or equivalent experience (asset).
  • 2–3 years of prior experience in a similar role considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of multi-provincial legislation and compliance across NB, NS, NL, PE, ON, AB, and BC.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; strong written English; French language skills considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and dependability with a commitment to confidentiality.
