Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant – Corporate Law
Location: Surrey, British Columbia
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary Range: $40,000 – $100,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established mid-sized law firm, is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join its Corporate Law team in Surrey, BC. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys managing complex documentation and client processes within a busy legal practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage corporate law documentation, including incorporations, purchase and sale agreements, and business-related filings
  • Handle file openings, closings, and ongoing file management, including scanning and document organization
  • Maintain the BF system and ensure records are current and accurate
  • Process corporate transactions via BC Online, LTSA, and ALF
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to lawyers and senior staff
  • Communicate with clients and manage new client intakes
  • Assist with other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Completion of a Legal Administrative Assistant certificate or diploma
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate and/or real estate law
  • Familiarity with ALF is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills with precise attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Professional, team-oriented attitude
