Job Description

The Corporate Host position is a full time role that will play a vital function in creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere as an ambassador for Brookfield Properties at Bankers Hall. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to tenants, guests, and clients by embodying a professional, approachable, and friendly presence. Hours of work required for this position are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ensure a continuous presence in common areas to be readily available for assistance to tenants or the public.
  • Control building access by ensuring couriers, contractors and other agents are directed accordingly.
  • Support lobby events, Guest Services, parking validation, tenant handouts, or similar tasks as applicable.
  • Report on any building maintenance issues and coordinate with Property Management, Building Security, and cleaning staff to address concerns and incidents promptly.
  • Familiarize with building emergency procedures and assist Tenants and Building Security during emergencies as well as fire drills and other building exercises.
  • Engage in training and continuing education to develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to work safely.
  • Immediately report health & safety incidents, near-misses, unsafe conditions, and/or at-risk behaviors to their supervisor
  • Promote safe work practices and safe working conditions in accordance with all Brookfield Properties Safe Work Procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

The position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to interact comfortably with a diverse range of people, including tenants, guests, and clients. A keen eye for detail is important as this role requires the maintenance of a consistently professional image. A high level of energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude is also essential for creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere. Additionally, a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently are important, as this position requires taking ownership of responsibilities and proactive efforts to ensure that the property is maintained to the standards set by Brookfield Properties.

  • Minimum Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR is an asset.
