About the role

The Corporate Finance team leads Strategic Finance, Corporate Development, and IR/Capital Markets subfunctions. The Strategic Finance subfunction focuses on evaluating ROI, unit economics, and business cases of opportunities that can evolve into new products, drive revenue, and contribute to the company’s growth. The team also communicates financial and data-driven insights to internal and external stakeholders and supports potential corporate development or capital raise transactions.

In this role, you will collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to evaluate the ROI and financial impact of new products and initiatives, build unit economic frameworks and other customized financial models, and assist with Corporate Finance projects as needed. Success in this role requires the ability to create excellent financial analysis for leadership and product teams, proactively drive insights, and deliver large impact at the company.

What you’ll be working on
  • Develop unit economics frameworks, models, and other customized analyses to drive strategic decision-making and impact at the company.
  • Assess the economic attractiveness and financial impact of new products, features, and business initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally to understand, evaluate, model, and advise on the financial impact of different initiatives or investment choices.
  • Work with data teams to monitor and improve product performance.
  • Communicate company financials and KPIs to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with other Corporate Finance team projects as needed.
Who we’re looking for
  • 1-3 years of prior strategic finance experience at a fast-growing consumer tech company (e.g., consumer internet, consumer subscription, and/or financial technology spaces)
  • Bachelor’s degree required; major in finance, economics, computer science, or another quantitative field preferred.
  • Expertise building sophisticated, executive-ready models, memos, and presentations in Google Sheets/Slides/Docs and Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Snowflake, Amplitude, and Looker.
  • Strong curiosity, critical thinking, and a collaborative “One team” mindset with a positive can-do attitude.
Bonus points for
  • Building something entrepreneurial or taking ownership of projects from the ground up
  • Experience at an adjacent company in travel or financial & earnings
  • Experience working at a high-growth financial & earnings company
  • Holding a strategic or corporate finance analyst role before (or currently in)

Salary range: $56,000 - $101,000 per year. As a remote-first organization, we use benchmarking data reflective of geographical areas to ensure our compensation is competitive based on location. Your TA partner will confirm applicable range during hiring.

Canada Tier 1: $61,000-$101,000 CAD – Greater Toronto Area and Metro Vancouver regions; Tier 2: $58,000-$96,000 CAD – All other Regions.

USA $56,000 - $101,000 USD.
