Job summary

Geotab is seeking a Corporate Compliance Intern to play a key role in supporting our Ethics & Compliance program. This 12-month, full-time paid internship begins January 2027 and offers hands-on experience in policy management, training and communications.

You will draft policies, develop awareness campaigns, research regulatory trends, and collaborate with Legal, Human Resources, and Internal Audit teams. The program includes onboarding, and Geotab Campus opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • A high level of integrity and discretion, with a strong understanding of handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the drafting, review, and revision of corporate policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
  • Support the development and deployment of E&C training and awareness campaigns, including creating materials and communication drafts.
  • Conduct research on emerging regulatory trends, industry best practices, and specific compliance-related topics as needed.
  • Provide support for key compliance processes, such as conflicts of interest, anti-bribery & corruption, business continuity, etc.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders on program activities and progress.
  • Collaborate with Ethics & Compliance, Legal, Human Resources, and Internal Audit teams on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Help manage project timelines, track deliverables, and provide status updates to ensure key initiatives are completed successfully.

What you’ll do:

The Corporate Compliance Intern will play a key role in supporting the ongoing development and implementation of our corporate Ethics & Compliance (E&C) program. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in various facets of corporate compliance, including policy management, training and communications, monitoring and risk assessments. The intern will work on meaningful projects that directly contribute to fostering a culture of integrity and ensuring the effectiveness of our compliance framework.

The opportunity:
  • 12-month work-term, beginning January 2027
  • Full-time, paid internship (Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs/week)

How you’ll make an impact:

What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • A high level of integrity and discretion, with a strong understanding of the need to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to help draft clear policies, reports, and communications.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • A systematic and logical approach to problem‑solving, with the ability to understand both detailed rules and the broader strategic picture.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with proven experience in managing and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and project goals.
  • A proactive and curious mindset with a genuine interest in corporate ethics, compliance, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and/or Microsoft Office Suite.

This role offers an hourly pay range which is anticipated to be the range listed below. The actual pay for this position depends on a variety of factors such as but not limited to student’s academic program, relevant experience, and location.
