Overview
ADGA is hiring a Site Security Coordinator to work on a largescale construction project in Bagotville, QC. The FSF Project Security Manager has been appointed by the design‑builder to manage security during design and construction. This is a dedicated role, and the employee shall not undertake other duties. The Senior Security Manager reports directly to the Project Directors. Responsibilities
- Report on security activities and track security performance with monthly construction reports, including risk identification.
- Coordinate with the DND/DND‑CDC representative on security issues; prepare security documentation for construction in accordance with the CSS.
- Develop and update the Site Security Implementation Plan and related security management documents; ensure the final post‑construction report includes a finalized security plan.
- Reassess security factors as design changes occur; analyze security factors and their impact on construction and facility operation.
- Direct site‑wide security implementation in accordance with the level of protection; ensure SIP compliance with CSS and Appendix B.
- Guide project team on function locations, material selection, and security work planning; analyze feasible security and force protection measures to meet policies and standards.
- Prepare responses to security issues during the construction phase; deliver required security presentations; chair and document site and base stakeholder meetings; update the construction strategy as needed.

- Publish updated security details and facilitate final selection and approval of security systems; develop plans for installation and implementation of security systems.

- Assist the estimator in defining elements needed to ensure industrial security during construction; lead correction of any security deficiencies identified during the warranty period and document remediation.
- Lead risk reviews for physical security projects; support security services and commissioning of security systems; notify Corporate Security of breaches or information leaks and prepare reports as required.
- Develop tender/RFPs, manage processes, and provide recommendations on awarding security force contracts; advise on security staffing requirements for the project duration.
- Develop a security plan covering all aspects of physical security for FSF during and after construction, including shift schedules, in coordination with MDN/DND/CDC/3e Escadre stakeholders.
- Ensure that security implementation plans, procedures, and controls meet the security requirements described in the specifications; review and approve security logs, investigations, and escalation procedures; develop and implement security reporting templates and processes.
- Additional responsibilities include information on security guard services, siting of resources, and ensuring compliance with security specifications.
