Job summary

Agropur is seeking a Planning Coordinator to optimize the supply chain for its Fresh Products sector, primarily using SAP IBP to balance demand, production, and distribution across the network.

You will develop the short-, medium-, and long-term master production and distribution plans, conduct inventory projections, and manage promotional volumes within IBP, collaborating with demand planning and manufacturing teams to model the integrated business plan based on real constraints.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of relevant experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Minimum two years of experience with an ERP system (SAP and IBP are assets).
• Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English (English required to work with colleagues and clients in other Canadian provinces).

Responsibilities

• Execute and adjust the short- and medium-term master production and distribution plan based on actuals sales and actuals production volumes.
• Own and improve daily and weekly governances' execution meetings (S&OE).
• Communicate proactively with commercial teams about forward fill rate risks.
• Collaborate with demand planning, distribution planning, and manufacturing operations teams to execute the production and distribution plan.
• Manage the allocation of promotional volumes based on available plant production capacity to meet demand on time while optimizing costs.
• Collaborate with Supply Planning Specialist to reflect manufacturing constraints and capacities into the IBP plan.
• Own the execution of high season peak like holidays, inventory build-up and monitoring those activities.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust them over time.

Your role in achieving results:

As a Planning Coordinator, you will play a key role in optimizing the supply chain for Agropur's Fresh Products sector, primarily using the SAP IBP tool. You will be the main driver of the S&OP and S&OE processes, balancing demand, production, and distribution across the Fresh Products network. Your goal will be to meet customer service objectives while maximizing manufacturing and distribution efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include developing the short-, medium-, and long-term master production and distribution plan, conducting detailed inventory projections based on production capacity and demand, and managing promotional volumes using SAP IBP. You will work closely with the demand management and manufacturing operations teams to model the integrated business plan based on real constraints, while maintaining effective governance of the standard process-all within a dynamic and collaborative department that’s growing fast.

What we are looking for to deliver these results:

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree in operations and logistics management, industrial engineering, management information systems, or other relevant fields required.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience with an ERP system (SAP and IBP are assets);
• Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English (English required to work with colleagues and clients in other Canadian provinces).
