SASKATOON PUBLIC SCHOOLS REQUIRES A :

Coordinator : Student Information System

(Full-Time – 1.0 FTE)

Saskatoon Public Schools is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative professional to serve as Coordinator : Student Information System. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) four-year term position commencing in August 2026. The successful candidate will be provided with some release time in the second half of the 2025-2026 school year for training purposes and will provide leadership in the use and ongoing management of MySchoolSask and Edsby across the division. This position supports data accuracy, Ministry reporting, scheduling and training for school-based staff, while fostering the effective use of student information systems to support learning, assessment and decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Provide division leadership in the use of student information for planning, assessment and reporting.
  • Coordinate the ongoing use, maintenance and support of MySchoolSask and Edsby.
  • Provide training, communication and support for school-based staff in collaboration with Curriculum, Education Technology, and Information Services.
  • Supervise and provide direction to Administrative Assistant – Information Systems and SIS HelpDesk positions.
  • Support data transfer processes to the Ministry of Education and oversee school scheduling.
  • Collaborate with Administrative Council to ensure alignment of SIS and Edsby practices consistent with division goals.
  • Provide enrolment projections, data summaries and reports to support planning and decision-making.
  • Support consistent procedures, documentation and data integrity across schools.
Qualifications
  • A valid Saskatchewan teacher’s certificate.
  • Experience using and supporting MySchoolSask and Edsby.
  • Understanding of scheduling, assessment and reporting processes in K–12 schools.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience coordinating projects, training or system implementations at the school or division level.
  • Knowledge of Ministry data reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with school and division staff.
