About the role:
Reporting to the Payroll Specialist, the Payroll Coordinator is responsible for various aspects of payroll processing. They collect and verify employee data, compute wages, ensure employees receive correct payment, and ensure payroll policies and procedures align with legislative requirements. Respond to employee questions related to pay and benefits.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with sound decision-making and a solid understanding of payroll workflows and system integrations, are essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to collaborate effectively across teams. A high level of integrity and discretion is also critical, particularly in handling sensitive and confidential information.

Salary: $71,600 CAD/year
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
