About the Role

Position: HR Coordinator – Seabee Gold Operation. Reporting to the Human Resources Supervisor, the coordinator supports all core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, training & development, record‑keeping, and general administrative support. The role also provides backup support for travel scheduling and accommodations with the Admin Travel team.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits, company policies, programs, and HR procedures while fostering a positive open line of communication; assist with the performance management program.
  • Maintain employee records, prepare reports on HR activities and metrics, and coordinate employee offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and updating records to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding, facilitate new employee orientation, and support recruitment functions including attending career fairs and talent acquisition events.
  • Assist with organizing training and development sessions for employees, track attendance, collect feedback, and ensure compliance with ongoing learning initiatives.
  • Support attendance programs, sick leave, disability management, and WCB cases, and other leaves of absence.
  • Support site events, prepare and take part in special projects as assigned or requested.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the department.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of applicable legislation, labour relations principles and practices, job evaluation methods, WCB, compensation and benefits, recruitment techniques, policy development and administration, human resources planning and organizational design strategies is an asset.
  • Ability to exercise sound independent judgment within general policy guidelines.
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise, and competent reports, correspondence, and other written materials.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, internet and web‑based applications; experience with Human Resources Information Systems such as Workday and SAP are considered an asset.
Education & Experience
  • Post‑secondary degree or diploma, preferably in human resources or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience working in human resources, preferably in mining or industrial settings.
  • CHRP Designation or working towards designation is considered an asset.
Working Conditions

This position has a schedule of one (1) week on, one (1) week off at a remote camp in northern Saskatchewan, working 11‑hour days with the possibility of unscheduled overtime required on occasion. Travel is required to fly in and fly out from designated pickup points (Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge). Occasional travel for recruitment events or training sessions may be required. Flexible schedule options such as supporting from the Saskatoon office may be discussed once the candidate becomes established.
