The Coordinator Global Communications is a detail-oriented proactive team member who supports the Global Communications leadership team through a blend of administrative operational and communication-related responsibilities.

This role will provide administrative and coordination support to ensure smooth operations and allow the communications team to focus on substantive and specialized communication matters. The coordinator will serve as a trusted partner to leadership supporting day-to-day administrative needs internal and external communications activities and project management. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure across the full spectrum of communications work.

What Youll Do
  • Provide administrative support for Global Communications leadership including:
  • Establish and manage a process to track the activity timelines and deliverables of the communications group.
  • Track the global communications budget, steward the forecasting process and lead purchase order creation and management.
  • Monitor shared email inboxes managed by the communications department ensuring appropriate response by the right member of the team.
  • Support team operations and engagement including planning and logistics for team meetings, workshops and events.
  • Collaborate with communications advisors and managers to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Support maintenance of photo and video asset catalogues ensuring accessibility and organization.
  • Assist with small design projects (e.g., presentations and internal graphics).
  • Help prepare materials for internal updates, leadership communications and employee engagement activities.
  • Support content publishing workflows by providing backing up for geo and website content publishing.
  • Manage the calendars and coordinate meetings and travel for the leadership team.
  • Managed expense reports and submissions for the leadership team.
  • Maintain alignment with Nutriens editorial standards and brand guidelines.
What Youll Bring
  • 5-10 years of experience in communications coordination, administrative support and project management, preferably spanning multiple geographies.
  • Can-do attitude with strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with publishing tools and design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe) and asset management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.
