About the Role

As a Coordinator, Food Services, you will:

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day food service operations at designated sites.
  • Provide leadership for quality food services.
  • Enforce policies and procedures, manage staff, and participate in cost control measures.
  • Maintain records and complete special projects as assigned.
  • Assume responsibility for departmental operations in the absence of the Manager.

Qualifications
  • Option 1:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics.
  • 3–5 years recent experience in a similar role, including staff management.
  • Member in good standing with the College of Dietitians of BC and Dietitians of Canada.
  • Option 2:
  • Graduation from a CSNM-accredited program in food service and nutrition management.
  • 5–7 years recent experience in acute or long-term care, including staff management.
  • Certificate of proficiency in Nutrition and Food Services Management (if not included in program).
  • Eligible for CSNM membership.
Additional Assets:
  • Minimum 5 years in a management/supervisory role (retail sector preferred).
  • Experience with Food Service Nutrition Software (CBORD).
  • Valid BC Driver’s License.
