Position: Coordinator, Digital Marketing

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Manager, Digital Marketing

Position Summary

The Coordinator, Digital Marketing plays an important role in Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE)’s digital marketing efforts through supporting email and SMS marketing, paid media, and mobile app. The successful candidate will work across all of CSE’s brands.

This Role Will Focus On
  • Executing performance marketing efforts supporting ticket sales, member retention, community, corporate partnerships, and brand, while providing guidance to optimize marketing and ad performance for maximum impact.
  • Implementing digital strategy across email, SMS, app, and paid channels
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager and Integrated Marketing & Brand teams to develop lead generation strategies that grow our marketing database.
  • Develop, in collaboration with Digital Marketing Manager, the paid marketing strategy for all CSE brands, managing and optimizing large-scale advertising budgets across digital channels.
  • Work closely with internal departments to maintain a comprehensive digital marketing production and editorial calendar.
  • Provide regular weekly and monthly reports with insights and data analysis on campaign performance to inform business decisions.
  • Ensuring email communication compliance with global anti-spam and privacy legislation.
  • Monitor paid media performance to ensure campaigns are optimized for reach, engagement, and ROI.
  • Managing game-day initiatives for the app with the use of CMS platforms as well as managing updates, styling, brand elements, and content on the app
  • Creating and scheduling push notifications for content categories such as Game Day Experiences, 50/50 Draws, Ticketing, etc.
  • Stay current with emerging marketing technologies, tools, and trends.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field
  • Minimum one year of hands-on digital marketing experience, including ad buying through Meta Business Manager and Google Ads.
  • Experience with digital and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Tradable Bits, and Salesforce, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and translate insights into actionable recommendations for weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present recommendations and insights.
  • Creative and strategic thinker who isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo and share ideas
  • Experience prioritizing the use of limited resources to optimize results and efficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Thrives under pressure, excels at prioritizing tasks, and quickly adapts to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by event and promotions schedule
