Working under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, the intern gains hands-on experience in specialty pharmacy operations, patient support, clinical services, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The Pharm.D. Student Intern plays an important role in supporting specialty pharmacy services while developing the clinical, operational, and patient care skills necessary for a future career as a pharmacist. Through direct patient interactions and collaboration with the healthcare team, the intern helps ensure patients receive timely access to and support for their specialty medications.
