Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Canada is seeking a Cook to prepare meals and support dining services across the community. You will follow standardized recipes, ensure quality and safety, and adapt to dietary modifications.

The role is casual, with on-demand hours; you will contribute to a clean, compliant kitchen and assist with dishwashing and service as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing and serving meals following standardized recipes and menus.
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines and sanitation standards.

• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards.
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements.
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures.
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations.
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas.
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed.
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.

Pay Range: 27.56 - 34.45

Employment Type: Casual
