The University of Saskatchewan is seeking an energetic kitchen assistant to support Culinary Services across hot and cold kitchens, bakeshop, and retail production, including special events. You will work as part of a team to deliver excellent food and service to students and staff.

This position assists in all areas of the culinary kitchen operation as required including hot and cold kitchens, bakeshop, retail production and special events. The incumbent will also participate as an active and supportive member of the Culinary Services group to enhance our students' experience.
This position reports directly to the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef. This position works as a part of a team providing support and assistance to the kitchen supervisors. Shifts are subject to change with business demands and will include early mornings, evenings and/or weekends.
The incumbent is accountable to the Consumer Services Team Charter and is aligned with its purpose, vision, and values, holding themselves and each other accountable to these guiding principles.

A minimum two years of experience working in a commercial kitchen setting or full service food service operation.
