Job summary

PARC Retirement Living is seeking a Cook for the Oceana PARC community in White Rock. This casual/on-call role offers a flexible schedule with an hourly rate of $27.94–$29.93 CAD.

You’ll join a team that delivers a dining experience rivaling high-end restaurants while caring for seniors in a welcoming community. You should have a culinary diploma or equivalent experience, Food Safe Level 1, and WHMIS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Create and serve meals for residents and guests in a restaurant-style setting.

As a PARC Cook, you’re a member of our Food and Beverage team, responsible for:

• Creating an incredible dining experience for our residents and guests.
• Preparing and serving meals in a restaurant setting – and bistro-style – with flourish, according proper food-handling procedures.
• Maintaining a clean kitchen and work space.
• Assisting with receiving and storing food deliveries.
• Preparing and serving residents at proper temperatures and in appropriate portions.
