A community support organization in Canada is seeking a dedicated Cook for the Wiseman Centre. Responsibilities include preparing balanced meals for residents, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring food safety. The ideal candidate will have formal cooking training, experience in group cooking, and be able to handle a fast-paced environment. This role offers a target hiring range of $19.04 per hour, with specific working hours from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

The Cook is a team member of the Wiseman Centre, a faith-based shelter, who is responsible to provide healthy well balanced meals to residents of The Wiseman Centre.
The primary focus of the Cook is to ensure the provision of balanced meals as per the menu which follows the Canadian Food Guide standards. The Cook is responsible for the safe handling and cooking of food as per the Canadian Food safe guidelines.
9:30AM-5:30PM
The target hiring range for this position is $19.04 to $19.04 with a maximum of $19.04. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
