Job summary

Amica Glen Abbey in Oakville, Ontario is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare daily meals from pre-determined menus under the supervision of the Sous Chef. You will ensure high-quality presentation and contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Day and weekend availability is required with a starting wage of $21.75 per hour. Applicants must have a Food Handling Certificate and at least three years of progressive kitchen experience across varied dining environments; hotel fine dining

Qualifications

• Food Handling Certificate required.
• Minimum three years of progressive experience in a variety of dining environments.
• Previous hotel fine dining property experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.

A day in the life of a Cook

Under the direction of the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for daily meal preparation from pre-determined menus, ensuring food quality and presentation meets fine dining standards and contributes to the smooth operation of the kitchen.

How do I qualify?
