Civeo Premium Services Employees LP is looking to fill Cook roles for a remote camp located north of Fort McMurray, Alberta. In this full‑time role, you’ll be responsible for preparing high‑quality meals for our guests, showcasing your expertise across a variety of cuisines. Key Responsibilities include preparing a diverse range of meats, salads, sandwiches, and entrees, maintaining proper inventory levels and upholding sanitation standards, supporting daily meal preparation and kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and teamwork in a fast‑paced environment.

Reporting to the designated supervisor, the successful candidate will be provided with transportation from Edmonton and will work a 14 days on and 14 days off rotation, which may include days, nights, weekend shifts, and statutory holidays.

Note: This is anticipated to be a 3‑month term position, with the potential for extension based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plans and organizes the culinary team in the preparation of food items and task assignments.
  • Assist with menu ordering, inventory, and daily production planning.
  • Preparation and production of menu items.
  • Ensure daily production levels are met.
  • Ensure all daily, weekly and monthly cleaning lists are completed.
  • Ensure food quality, food safety and service standards are met and maintained daily.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures by following company Safe Work Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1-3+ years food service experience, preferably in a remote environment.
  • Red Seal Cook designation is an asset.
  • Food Safety certification valid in the province of Alberta is required.
  • First Aid Certification is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, pull, push, and place objects away weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
