REQUIREMENTS: Secondary (High) School graduation certificate or equivalent; 1 year to less than 2 years\' experience; good communication skills in English.

HOURS: Full-time; variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

DUTIES:

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise Kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain food inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas

CREDENTIALS:

  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate
  • Food Safety Certificate
