About the Opportunity?

• Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide senior management with a clear picture of the company's financial health.

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the development of the annual budget, offering insights and guidance on financial planning and performance forecasting.

• Financial Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.

• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital to ensure liquidity and stability.

• Cost Analysis: Analyze costs and expenses to identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.

• Tax Compliance: Oversee tax reporting and compliance, collaborating with external advisors as needed.

• Financial Strategy: Work with the Director of Finance to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals.

• Audit Preparation: Coordinate annual audits, liaising with external auditors and resolving findings.

• Team Management: Supervise and mentor the finance team, including the General Accountant.

About You?

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA preferred.

• 5+ years of experience as a Controller or similar in the transportation/logistics industry.

• Strong knowledge of AP/AR or IFRS accounting standards.

• Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems (Truckmate/TMW preferred).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range?

$110,000 - $120,000/year.
