Job summary

Modern Campus is seeking a contracts specialist to support the Legal Department. You will draft, review, and redline SaaS contracts, manage templates, and collaborate with Sales and Finance to accelerate deal cycles in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You have 2+ years in contract management, post-secondary legal training, experience with Salesforce or CLM tools, and a track record of clear communication and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in contract management and commercial legal operations in B2B SaaS or tech.
• Post-secondary legal training or education in Law.
• Experience handling high-volume contracting in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and customer service across teams.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and redline a range of SaaS contracts per templates and standards.
• Review RFPs and prepare responses to legal/contract questions as needed.
• Prepare contract amendments and addendums; support account management.
• Record contract intake, store/retrieve contracts and document exceptions.
• Support rapid sales cycles with timely contract turnaround and risk controls.
• Use CLM platforms and AI tools to streamline review, redlining, workflow and reporting.
• Track contractual obligations, key terms, renewal timelines, and compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement for scalability and efficiency in Legal.

What's the role?

We are seeking a highly organized and execution-focused Contracts Specialist to support our Legal Department. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment and is comfortable leveraging contract lifecycle management (CLM) technology to drive efficiency, consistency, and speed in contracting processes.

Reporting to the Director, Legal, you will support the contract management process within the Legal Department and work alongside other stakeholders such as Sales and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review and redline a range of SaaS contracts in accordance with established templates, processes, terms and company standards.
• Review RFP documentation and prepare responses to legal/contract questions, where necessary
• Prepare contract amendments, addendums and support account management process.
• Perform administrative functions such as record contract in‑take, storing and retrieving contracts and documenting contract exceptions.
• Support rapid sales cycles by ensuring timely contract turnaround while maintaining appropriate risk controls.
• Utilize CLM platforms and AI‑enabled tools to streamline contract review, redlining, workflow management, and reporting
• Track contractual obligations, key commercial terms, renewal timelines, and compliance requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scalability and operational efficiency within the Legal Department.

What you offer...
