Job summary

A location information management firm in York Region is seeking a server-side Oracle developer for a three-month contract with the potential for permanent employment. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of development experience with PL/SQL and C#, as well as familiarity with the Microsoft .Net platform and Oracle Database. Excellent communication skills are required for direct client interaction. This role also requires a valid driver’s license for occasional work in Oakville.

They are looking for a server-side Oracle developer for a three month contract with the possibility to extend to permanent employment.

Job Summary and Essential Functions

• Location is Hwy #7 & Woodbine with occasional work in Oakville so a car is necessary.
• Must be able to work directly with clients and have excellent communication skills.
• You possess 3+ years of strong development skills with the following technology:
• Languages: PL/SQL, and C# (Windows services)
• Microsoft .Net platform, TFS, Microsoft suite
• Database: development on Oracle
• OS: Windows server 2003
• Oracle Spatial experience is particularly desirable.
• IBM MQ Series familiarity desirable.
