Woodward Canada Inc. is hiring a Test Technician to validate conformance to product specs and analyze systems using production test procedures. You will support test procedure development and maintenance, and create documentation for rework of failed assemblies.

Responsibilities include trouble-shooting PCB and unit faults, providing corrective actions, and supporting procurement for test equipment within a 12 month contract. Strong analytical and teamwork skills are essential.

Formación

• Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technician/Technologist or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, computer, coaching and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast pace team environment and liaise with other departments when necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Validate conformance to product specifications and analyze systems using production test procedures and equipment.
• Support the development and implementation of test procedures and equipment maintenance.
• Create and issue internal documentation to facilitate rework/repair of failed assemblies and non-conformance reports.
• Troubleshoot circuit board and unit faults to determine root cause and implement corrective actions.
• Assist with capital acquisitions and procurement support for test equipment.
