We are expanding our team at Side! As a Contract Senior Console Engineer specializing in Unreal Engine, you will play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of cutting‑edge console games. You will collaborate with artists, designers and other engineers to create high‑quality gaming experiences. Your expertise in Unreal Engine will be essential as you troubleshoot and optimize game performance across various platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement gameplay features in Unreal Engine for console platforms.
  • Optimize game performance on multiple console platforms, including PS4 / PS5, Xbox One / Xbox Series X.
  • Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of art, design, and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across various stages of development.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Stay current with industry trends and Unreal Engine updates, integrating new technologies as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in console game development, specifically with Unreal Engine.
  • Strong knowledge of game optimization techniques across various console hardware.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ programming language.
