Job summary

Panasonic Canada Inc. is seeking a Salesforce Developer for a 12-month contract. The role is hybrid with Mississauga office attendance and occasional Niagara-on-the-Lake visits.

You will design, develop, and support Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flows, and integrations while ensuring security and governance compliance. The position requires 7+ years of Salesforce delivery experience, Salesforce certifications, and strong collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of Salesforce delivery experience on medium-to-large projects, including 5+ years hands‑on Salesforce development.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II certification is considered an asset.
• Strong functional and technical expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with business stakeholders, Salesforce Administrators, and technical teams to gather requirements and design scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Develops and configures Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, approval processes, custom objects, and validation rules.
• Supports and enhances Experience Cloud solutions to improve user experience and business processes.
• Applies declarative and programmatic development approaches in accordance with Salesforce best practices and standards.
• Develops and supports integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems to ensure reliable data exchange and business continuity.
• Executes and supports unit, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT), including the creation and maintenance of Apex test classes.
• Supports release management activities, including packaging, deployment automation, change promotion, production releases, and post-deployment validation.
• Maintains platform security and compliance through role hierarchies, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, field-level security, object-level security, and secure coding practices.
• Monitors platform performance, data integrity, automation effectiveness, integrations, and governor limits; supports data imports, exports, migrations, deduplication, and quality initiatives.
• Serves as an escalation point for complex Salesforce issues, provides technical guidance and documentation, supports user adoption and training, evaluates new platform capabilities, and provides backup support to the Salesforce Administrator.
