Job summary

A leading aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Reliability Engineer for their Dorval Plant. You will analyze maintenance data, define and implement maintenance plans, and manage risk while coordinating with multiple departments to enhance efficiency. Candidates must have a relevant degree, 5 years of experience, and be bilingual in French and English. Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field combined with a minimum of five years of experience in an industrial environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency (French/English), both spoken and written.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal communication, project management abilities, and a strong customer service mindset.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and industrial regulations.
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts effectively.
  • Experience with various modules of a CMMS system (Maximo preferred).
  • A strong sense of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze maintenance data: Identify trends and root causes of failures to propose sustainable solutions.
  • Define and implement maintenance plans: Develop preventive and predictive programs based on manufacturer recommendations and best practices.
  • Manage risk and criticality: Assess the impact of failures on safety, production, and costs, and prioritize interventions accordingly.
  • Coordinate across departments: Work closely with production, engineering, and procurement teams to integrate reliability into design and planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and maintenance system performance.
  • Provide training and awareness: Support teams in adopting preventive and predictive maintenance tools and techniques.
  • Monitor performance indicators (KPIs): MTBF, MTTR, availability rate, etc.
