Overview

Konstantino Pizza & Wings is hiring reliable Contract Pizza Delivery Drivers to deliver hot, fresh orders safely and on time across Dryden and nearby areas. You’ll pick up orders from our store, verify accuracy, navigate efficiently, and provide friendly doorstep service—especially during peak evening and weekend hours.

Compensation

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up and verify orders for accuracy, temperature, and packaging integrity
• Deliver orders safely, courteously, and within quoted delivery times
• Navigate using GPS; choose optimal routes considering traffic and weather
• Handle payments when required (cash, card reader), issue receipts, and reconcile tips
• Communicate with store/kitchen and customers about ETAs, delays, or address issues
• Follow contactless delivery preferences and special instructions
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and food safety standards during transport
• Adhere to all road safety laws and company safety policies (no distracted or impaired driving)
• Assist with light in-store tasks between runs (e.g., order staging, boxes) as agreed

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18+
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence
• Reliable, insured vehicle suitable for year-round delivery (winter-ready tires recommended)
• Proof of current auto insurance; commercial/delivery coverage may be required by insurer
• Smartphone with data plan for navigation, communications, and delivery apps
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle cash and use POS or mobile payment devices
• Comfortable driving in winter weather and on local Dryden routes
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lb and climb stairs

Contract Status

• Independent contractor engagement; scheduling is based on demand and your availability
• You are responsible for your own fuel, parking, tolls, maintenance, mobile data, and taxes
• A background check and driver’s abstract may be required prior to engagement

Schedule

Part-time, contract; peak times are evenings, weekends, game days, and bad-weather periods

Tools and Equipment

• Personal vehicle, valid licence, and insurance documents
• Smartphone with GPS/navigation apps and charger
• Thermal delivery bag(s) provided or approved by store

Training Provided

• Orientation on delivery procedures, customer service standards, and safety
• App/POS usage, cash handling, and contactless delivery protocols
• Local delivery zones, no-park spots, and winter driving best practices
