Job summary

A leading construction firm in Ontario is seeking a Contract Manager/Deputy Contract Manager. The successful candidate will manage the full tender process, ensure contractual compliance, and oversee project budgets. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Building or Quantity Surveying and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in similar positions. This role offers a dynamic environment focused on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including 4 years in similar positions.
  • Background in Quantity Surveying.
  • Experience in projects with contract value exceeding $100 million.

  • Manage full spectrum of Tender process.
  • Review contract documents.
  • Cost, change and claim management.
  • Initiate and draft official correspondences to stakeholders.
  • Participate and/or lead commercial negotiation.
  • Monitor and manage project budget, contract revenue and cash flow.
  • Manage and ensure contractual compliance and conformance.

Skills

Proficient in Standard Forms of Contract (PSSCOC/SIA/REDAS)
Knowledge in contract law, SOP Act and dispute resolution

Education
