Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of contracts for equipment installation, facility upgrades, and infrastructure maintenance.
- Conduct on-site audits to verify compliance with:
- Time sheets
- Cost tracking and invoicing
- Safety and environmental standards
- Prepare and present detailed audit reports with findings, risk assessments and recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and procurement teams to ensure contract alignment with operational goals.
- Monitor contractor performance, project milestones, and budget adherence.
- Ensure all contracts comply with industry standards, local regulations, and internal policies.
- Support resolution of disputes, claims, and contract variations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of contract management experience in industrial manufacturing or recycling environments.
- Strong knowledge of equipment and infrastructure used in metal/non-metal recycling operations.
- Strong knowledge of metal recycling equipment including but not limited to shredders, shears, balers, eddy current separators and conveyor systems.
- Proven experience in field auditing including verification of time sheets and cost tracking.
- Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations relevant to industrial operations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in contract management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience with scrap metal processing or industrial recycling plants.
- Certification in contract management (e.g. CCMP, MRICP, MPMP) is a plus.
- Bilingual (English and French) – French preferred.
- Willingness to travel to operational sites as needed.
