Job summary

TAG Hardware is looking for an Intermediate Accountant in South Surrey, BC, on a contract basis from August 2026 to July 2027. This role will be integral to the finance team, managing day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, month-end activities, and tax remittances.

You will work closely with the Director of Finance and support efficient accounting processes. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a large number of transactions.
• Experience with accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage AP activities and vendor inquiries.
• Process and apply AR payments, and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare weekly AR aging reports and follow up on collections.
• Support month-end close and prepare reconciliations.
• Assist with year-end reporting and audit requests.
