Job summary

Architecture49 seeks an experienced construction project administrator to support site activities in the Greater Toronto Area. You will coordinate site visits, assist with progress reports, RFIs, and contract changes, and work with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure design intent and quality control.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in construction, strong building envelope knowledge, familiarity with Ontario codes, and BIM/REVIT/AutoCAD proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience with a focus on the construction phase of projects.
  • Strong building envelope knowledge, codes familiarity, and Ontario practices.
  • Certificate in construction contract administration or equivalent is an asset.
  • French communication ability is an asset.
  • Experience with BIM/REVIT/AutoCAD and Bluebeam is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and travel to conduct site visits throughout the Greater Toronto Area, attend site meetings, oversee site activities and provide quality control
  • Assisting with project progress and site reports
  • Assist with shop drawings, answering Contractor requests for information and issuing contract changes
  • Assist with quality control/constructability reviews on drawings and specifications
  • Collaborating and coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team
Qualifications
  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience with a focus on the construction phase of projects
  • Sound technical and building envelope knowledge, strong understanding of codes, and familiarity with Ontario construction practices
  • Recognized credentials from a construction contract administration course or other equivalent training considered an asset
  • Ability to effectively communicate and deliver services in French considered an asset
  • Preference given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles & workflows; REVIT software; AutoCAD software; Microsoft 365 environment; and Bluebeam and Adobe Reader
Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT:$80,800 - 107,000
MB & ON:$73,700 - 101,500
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $73,000 - 96,900
