Job summary

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited is seeking a Continuous Improvement General Supervisor to lead the site CI roadmap and drive operational excellence at our Upper Beaver Project, Dobie, Ontario. You will coach leaders, govern CI standards, and ensure MOS implementation across functions.

This role requires 7+ years in CI or related fields, an engineering background, and strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills to deliver value and sustain improvements within a mining operation.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
• 7+ years of leadership in continuous improvement or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of CI methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
• Ability to coach, influence, and build capability across all levels of the organization.
• Experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives in an operational environment.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the site Continuous Improvement roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Establish and govern CI processes, standards, and methodologies across the site.
• Facilitate and support CI initiatives while enabling departments to own project execution.
• Provide coaching and guidance to leaders and teams on CI tools, practices, and roles.
• Drive implementation and governance of the Management Operating System (MOS).
• Ensure consistent, high-quality CI support across all site functions.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Monitor and report on CI performance, progress, and value delivery.
• Provide oversight of Operational Technology initiatives, ensuring projects align with priorities.
• Monitor implementation and adoption of technology solutions, ensuring integration into standard work.
