Responsibilities
Commissioning & Startup
  • Collaborate with project teams during the design, installation, and commissioning phases of the new plant.
  • Support equipment validation, process trials, and initial production runs.
  • Develop and implement startup SOPs, training materials, and CI frameworks.
  • Identify early‑stage improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions to stabilize operations.
Continuous Improvement
  • Lead CI projects focused on throughput, yield, energy efficiency, and cost reduction.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, root cause analysis, and cross‑functional problem‑solving workshops.
  • Establish and refine standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and production teams to optimize equipment performance and process reliability.
  • Monitor and report on CI metrics, KPIs, and project ROI.
  • Train and mentor staff on CI tools and methodologies.
  • Support capital projects and automation initiatives with a CI lens.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in medical devices, PPE, or high‑volume production.
  • Proven track record of leading CI projects with measurable results.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred), and TPM.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, Power BI, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Assets
  • Experience in greenfield, startup or major expansion of a manufacturing facility.
