Job summary

Kenny U-Pull is seeking a motivated DZ Tow Truck Driver to join our team in Ottawa, ON. You will safely transport customers' vehicles, maintain accurate tow records, and perform pre/post-trip inspections while coordinating with dispatch and customers to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

  • Valid DZ driver's license with clean driving abstract and CVOR.
  • Valid towing certificate (preferred).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a tow truck driver or in a similar role.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of towing laws, regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Able to operate and maneuver a tow truck safely in various road and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transporting customers' vehicles from point of pick up to the branch
  • Maintaining accurate records of towing assignments, including vehicle information, pick-up and drop-off locations, and any special instructions
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tow truck and equipment to ensure safe operation
  • Performing labouring tasks that may including depollution, tire dismounting, etc
  • Communicating effectively with dispatchers, supervisors and customers to coordinate towing activities
  • Providing our customers with excellent customer service!
