Workplace Arrangements

This role will follow a hybrid remote/onsite schedule. Applicants will work on‑site from our Ottawa Head Office, on Walkley Road, 1‑2 days a week for an 8‑5 schedule.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Prepare and organize digital flyer code sheets by mapping flyer pages, SKUs, and product links, ensuring accurate weekly delivery to Flipp for hosting on Giant Tiger’s website and app.
  • Conduct pre‑launch quality control on regional flyers by verifying product links, confirming correct versions and pricing, and coordinating with vendors and internal partners to implement required QA revisions.
  • Capture and edit social content in collaboration with the Social Media Specialist, testing and recommending new content formats that bring GTMP priorities to life across key categories.
  • Consolidate campaign performance data, including flyer and email heat maps, A/B test results, and competitive monitoring, to identify industry trends and opportunities across channels.
  • Provide clear, actionable recommendations based on insights and performance data to guide channel optimizations and future planning.
  • Maintain and organize centralized insight libraries, ensuring reports, learnings, and recommendations are current and accessible for use during content and planning discussions.
  • Analyze traffic quality by channel to understand how visitors from email, social, flyer, and paid campaigns engage with GiantTiger.com, using these insights to inform audience targeting, content effectiveness, and future campaign planning.
  • Source images and visual references to support storytelling decks, photography planning, and creative layout discussions across digital marketing channels.
What You’ll Bring
  • Diploma in Marketing, Advertising or a related field
  • 1‑2 years of experience in Digital Marketing
  • Strong attention to detail and a good eye for visual design
  • Self‑starter who can learn quickly and has a strong digital marketing lens
  • Analytical and insight‑driven, able to interpret data to inform recommendations
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and re‑prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment
Assets You May Have
  • Previous experience with social media and content creation
  • Experience using email service providers (ESPs), such as Klaviyo
  • Knowledge of the retail and eCommerce industry
  • Experience using site analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools, such as Sprout Social
  • Experience with creative and content tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and CapCut, and working collaboratively with graphic designers and copywriters
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset as this person will edit content for English and French speaking shoppers and stores
