The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, excellent writing skills, and the ability to manage and refine a variety of content types including blogs, marketing materials, website copy, and social media posts. As a Content Editor, you will play a vital role in maintaining our brand voice, ensuring editorial excellence, and elevating the quality of all published materials across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit and proofread articles, blogs, newsletters, and web content for clarity, grammar, punctuation, and style.

  • Ensure all content aligns with the companys tone, brand guidelines, and editorial standards.

  • Collaborate with writers, marketing teams, and designers to improve the quality and consistency of content.

  • Suggest improvements for structure, flow, readability, and SEO optimization.

  • Monitor content metrics and provide feedback to enhance performance and audience engagement.

  • Fact-check and verify all content before publication.

  • Manage publishing schedules and ensure timely delivery of content projects.

  • Use content management systems (CMS) to format and publish articles.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken) with strong grammar and editing skills.

  • Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Familiarity with style guides such as AP or Chicago Manual of Style.

  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices and keyword optimization.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high editorial standards.

  • Proficiency in content editing tools (e.g., Grammarly, Hemingway Editor, Google Docs).

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in content editing, journalism, publishing, or a related field.

  • Experience working in remote environments is a plus.

  • Previous exposure to digital publishing and CMS platforms (WordPress preferred) is desirable.
