As part of EA's Advertising & Sponsorships Media team, you will support pre-sale and post-sale efforts for our in-game media, sponsorships, and partnerships across our portfolio of games. You will report to the Content Manager and work cross-functionally with sales, studio, development, and operational teams to support the delivery of short-form and long-form assets optimized for web, social, paid media, presentations, and sizzle reels, while learning and applying brand consistency and visual standards. You will work in a fast-paced, quick-turnaround environment, helping edit EA-owned IP into engaging content that supports advertising, sponsorships, and brand storytelling initiatives. This is an opportunity for an early-career editor to grow their skills while collaborating with experienced creatives.

Responsibilities:

Edit short-form video content and screen captures from raw EA-owned IP footage.

Assist in transforming raw footage into polished, engaging videos optimized for multiple platforms (social, web, paid media, presentations, sizzle reels).

Apply platform-native editing techniques such as cutting to sound, basic transitions, effects, color correction, on-screen text, and simple motion graphics.

Incorporate graphics, music, captions, and brand elements following established guidelines.

Creative Execution & Brand Alignment

Follow and maintain a consistent editing style aligned with brand voice and visual identity.

Support creative experimentation with trend-forward storytelling under guidance from senior team members.

Contribute ideas and suggestions to help improve video quality and creative output.

Assist the Ads & Sponsorships team in producing creative variations and video assets for digital advertising campaigns.

Collaborate with the Sales team to support the creation of compelling visual materials that showcase EA IP and highlight partnership opportunities for brand advertisers.

Asset Management & Delivery

Help organize, label, and archive footage and media assets for easy future use.

Ensure media files are saved, tracked, and prepared for delivery in the correct formats.

Meet deadlines across multiple projects with support from the broader team.

Implement feedback and revisions efficiently in a fast-paced workflow.

Assist with maintaining and updating the ad specifications hub for external partners

Collaborate with internal teams to help repurpose long-form content into short-form highlights.

Partner with creative, marketing, and sponsorship stakeholders to support campaign goals and timelines.

Required Qualifications:

Early-career editor with experience contributing to multiple video projects

1-3 years of experience in video editing, post-production, or a related field (professional, freelance, or internship experience considered), ideally in a professional or commercial environment

Experience cutting picture, sound, and music

Experience producing short-form video content; long-form experience is a plus.

Basic motion graphics skills

Passion for video editing, social media, and current trends in content and storytelling

Developing storytelling and editorial skills

Familiarity with multiple video formats and platforms

Good time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.

Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly.

Working knowledge of video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.

Nice to Have:

Interest in sports culture (e.g., American football or football/soccer) is a plus.

Exposure to AI-assisted editing or creative tools (e.g., for captions, image enhancement, or workflow efficiency).

Passion for gaming, entertainment, and digital culture.

Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
