Job summary

Walmart Canada in Regina is seeking a Consumables Associate to help move merchandise from backroom to salesfloor, assist customers and maintain a safe, clean environment.

You’ll greet customers, promote products, stock, rotate goods, handle returns, and support the customer service team; minimum age 16; starting hourly rate CAD 15.50.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Assist customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions.
• Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management where appropriate.
• Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, signing and pricing merchandise.
• Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, identify high shrink items and maintain a safe work environment as per Company policies and procedures.
• Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, administer required paperwork, logs and other documentation.
• Refer appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
• Stock merchandise/picks, Downstocks if applicable. Apply product protection when required. Set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and sets new shelf caps.
