Walmart Canada is seeking a Consumables Associate in Prince Albert, SK to support a fast-paced flow of merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor and to assist customers with their shopping needs in a safe and clean environment.

You will be part of a team that stocks and processes merchandise, greets customers, promotes products, and resolves issues, all while following company policies and procedures. This entry-level role emphasizes service, merchandising, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Assist customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and helping with purchase decisions.
• Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management when appropriate.
• Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, signing and pricing merchandise.
• Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, identify high shrink items and maintain a safe work environment as per Company policies and procedures.
• Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, complete required paperwork, logs and other documentation.
• Refer appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
• Stock merchandise/picks, downstocks if applicable; apply product protection when required; set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and sets new shelf caps.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $15.50.
