Job summary

Walmart Canada is hiring a Consumables Associate in AIRDRIE, AB. You will be a customer service champion helping shoppers and moving merchandise from backroom to salesfloor in a safe, clean environment.

You will greet customers, promote products, stock displays, and handle returns while maintaining store standards and procedures. This is a team-based role in a high-volume setting with opportunities to build retail skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Assist customers by promoting products and locating merchandise.
• Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management.
• Stock and rotate merchandise and maintain displays.
• Handle claims and returns and maintain safety in the store.
• Receive and stock merchandise and complete required paperwork.
• Refer appropriate service items to a Customer Service Manager.

• Ensures proper handling of claims and returns, secures merchandise, identifies high shrink items and maintains a safe work environment as per Company policies and procedures.
• Receives and stocks merchandise, utilizes equipment appropriately, administers required paperwork, logs and other documentation.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
• Stocks merchandise/picks, Downstocks if applicable. Applies product protection when required. Sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and sets new shelf caps.
