Regional Western Australia | Full Time

A major regional health service in Western Australia is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Consultant Paediatrician to join its expanding team. The Opportunity

Working as part of a supportive and collegial paediatric team, you will provide specialist care across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and neonatal settings. You will also deliver outreach services to surrounding regional and remote communities—ensuring equitable access to paediatric healthcare for families who need it most.

This position offers an excellent balance of clinical leadership, teaching, acute care exposure, and community‑focused practice.

About You

You are a consultant paediatrician who brings:

  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Paediatrics, or equivalent
  • AHPRA Specialist Registration (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong expertise in acute and chronic paediatric medicine
  • Experience and interest in neonatal care, developmental paediatrics, and community health
  • A supportive leadership style with a passion for teaching, supervising and mentoring junior doctors
  • Resilience, adaptability, and confidence in managing complex or remote‑care scenarios
  • A commitment to improving health outcomes for First Nations children
  • Enthusiasm for regional practice and the lifestyle benefits it offers
