In this role, you will focus on developing strategic relationships with key account contacts and understanding client needs. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of employee benefits insurance experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to oversee the complete employee benefits cycle. The Consultant works closely with the Employee Benefits team to understand client needs and priorities. You will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with key account contacts.
This role may be based out of our Vancouver or Burnaby office location. Both locations are centrally located and easily accessible by SkyTrain and transit with many shops, restaurants and other amenities nearby.

The compensation for this position is a variable compensation structure, i.e., discretionary draw plus commission. As such, the total compensation earned will vary depending on the successful candidate’s book of business at a particular time. The expected draw plus commission will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. Due to the variable nature of this sales‑based compensation structure, more definitive prospective information is not possible. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid‑time‑off benefits, eligible bonuses and equity for some positions.
