Job summary

Enclave Contracting Ltd. in Delta, BC is hiring a Construction worker on a permanent, full-time basis. Two vacancies available; start ASAP with 30 hours per week at $23.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, crane maintenance, building forms, scaffolding, pouring concrete and asphalt, framing houses, and site housekeeping. Training provided; fluent English required.

Qualifications

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• Training will be provided to the selected candidate.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• Clean and lubricate cranes.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
• Assist in framing of houses, erection of walls, and construction of roofs.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials.
• Perform routine maintenance work.
• Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
• Tend or feed construction machines and equipment.
• Direct traffic near construction sites.

• The candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance work.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
• The candidate will be responsible for tending or feeding construction machines and equipment.
• The candidate will be responsible for directing traffic near construction sites.
