Job summary

Next Level Framing LTD is hiring a Construction worker in Abbotsford, BC. The role is permanent full-time with diverse day, evening, night, weekend shifts and potential overtime. You will load materials, assist with framing, and support heavy equipment operators on various sites.

Applicants should be fluent in English, capable of heavy lifting, and prepared for long outdoor hours. Training is provided; no formal education required. Health and safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required for communication on site.
• No mandatory bachelor’s degree or diploma; training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and over 45 kg (100 lbs).
• Must be client focused with good interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, reliable and a strong team player.
• Able to work long hours outdoors and at heights.
• Willing to work overtime if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle forms, scaffolding and barricades.
• Mix, pour and spread construction materials.
• Assist heavy equipment operators on site.
• Assist in drilling and blasting rock on sites.
• Support house framing and roof construction.
• Level earth to fine grade specifications.
• Assist in demolition and clean up spills.
• Direct traffic near construction sites.

• The candidate will be required to load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate will be required to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• The candidate will be required to mix, pour, and spread materials.
• The candidate will be expected to assist heavy equipment operators.
• The candidate will be required to assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
• The candidate will be expected to help with house framing, wall construction, and roof construction.
• The candidate must level earth to fine grade specifications.
• The candidate will be expected to assist in the demolition of buildings.
• The candidate must clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• The candidate will be responsible for directing traffic near construction sites.
