Job summary

Greatario is seeking dedicated Construction Technicians to join our field construction team on active sites across Canada. You’ll work with a crew, operate power tools to assemble tank systems, and help coordinate daily tasks to keep projects moving safely.

Job description

Greatario is growing, and we’re looking for dedicated, safety-focused Construction Technicians to join our field construction team.

What you’ll be doing

• Working on active construction sites building municipal, industrial and agricultural liquid storage systems.
• Operating power tools and equipment to assemble tank systems, including impact tools, torque wrenches and caulking equipment.
• Working with a field crew (typically 5 team members including the Foreman) to coordinate daily tasks and keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
• Supporting project timelines through reliable execution, teamwork and strong work ethic.

What Makes a Great Fit

• Previous experience in Construction
• Effective time management skills, ability to work well under pressure
• Valid Class G driver’s license or ability to get to crew meeting point
• Comfortable with physically demanding work
• Comfortable working outdoors for long periods of time in all types of weather
• Desire to learn new skills
• Comfortable with travel
• Understanding of both oral and written instructions

Compensation

• Hourly wage commensurate with experience, starting wage is $26.00 an hour
• Benefit plan including paid vacation time, medical & dental benefits, RRSP, meal expenses, travel costs and uniform payments

This roles involves extensive travel to project sites across Canada, including overnight stays away from home depending on project requirements. Because our work is project based, schedules can vary from job to job.
