A leading construction company is seeking a Construction Surveyor to join their Fort McMurray operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in GPS-based construction layout and be proficient with AutoCAD and surveying tools. Responsibilities include daily site layout, topographic field pickups, and collaboration with project teams. Strong multitasking and communication skills are essential. This role also requires certifications and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in GPS-based construction layout.
• Proficient in reading and using DTM surfaces, DXF files and data collectors.
• Solid understanding of staking for roads, pads, and ponds.
• Experience required with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Centre or Terramodel.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• CSTS/OSSA or CSO Certification required.

• Complete topographic field pickups.
• Support and troubleshoot survey layout and GPS machine control (Trimble/TOPCON).
• Collaborate with project managers and field superintendents.
• Accurately record and document survey data.

• Proficient in reading and using DTM surfaces, DXF files and data collectors.
